Nutrition & Amino Acids

Essential and Nonessential Substances
  • All substances for energy and building blocks are obtained from foods what we eat
  • Essential substances cannot be made by the body. As a result, they must come from food.
  • Nonessential means that our bodies produce, even if we do not get it from the food we eat

Essential substances are:
  • All minerals
  • Most of the vitamins (B12, Vit C, folic acids atc.)
  • Fatty acids (omega 3- 6)
  • Nine of the 20 Amino Acids ( Isoleucine, Leucine,  Valine, Lysine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Tryptophan, Threonine,  Histidine)

Composition of the body
A well-known fact is that 65% of human body is water. If we consider in the rest of the percentage 20% is proteins, and all of the proteins are made from amino acids, it is rather significant amount. This alone makes their role in our diet absolutely indispensible.
So far have you ever  cared about amino acids in your diet as you do  for vitamins and minerals?
However, genes controlled  all functions  by producing proteins from amino acids. Vitamins and minerals are just cofactor of metabolic process which h is extremely essential.  But the main role belongs to amino acids.

Even if vitamins and minerals are in adequate level in by the body, they cannot be effective unless the necessary amino acids are present.

Since genes controlled all functions by producing proteins from amino acids, and amino acids are  obtained from foods,; the most important nutrient must be amino acids.
THE BASIS OF HEALTH IS NUTRITION, AND THE BASIS OF NUTRITION IS AMINO ACIDS 1, 2, 3, 4,

The proteins that form the human body are not obtained directly from the diet
Rather, the dietary protein is broken into its constituent amino acids that the body uses to build the specific proteins it needs.
Therefore, the main nutrients are amino acids, not proteins.

  • Each food contains different amounts of protein. The proteins derived from different food sources also consist of different amino acid chains. Therefore, 100 grams of protein obtained from any plant and 100 grams of protein obtained from any meat is not the same quality protein.
  • The quality of protein is determined  by adequacy of its essential amino acids ratio.  If  the amount and balance of essential amino acids  of a food is enough it is called complete protein.
  • While proteins obtained from animal sources are complete, non of the plant proteins are not a complete protein. Neither lentil nor kinoa are not complete proteins. But an appropriate combination of plant foods or plant plus animal based foods will easily meet your daily essential amino acids requirements. But an appropriate combination of  plant foods or plant plus animal based   foods will easily  meet  your daily essential amino acids requirements.

LET US TEACH YOU HOW TO MEET YOUR DAILY AMINO ACID REQUIREMENTS.

New Nutrition Model
-A practical and comprehensive nutrition model which can be easily adapted daily life for all age groups from all cultures.
-Enables to obtain all nutrients properly

How  does Amino acid deficiency occur?
Even if you have a balanced diet with enough protein, many factors can contribute to deficiencies of essential amino acids.
  • An unbalanced or low protein diet
  • Impaired absorption
  • Disease (particularly infection and malignancy)
  • Physical and psychological stress
  • Drug use (including antiacids, antibotics, chemotherapy for cancer)
  • Unbalanced and individual amino acid supplementation such as Arginine, BCAAs, Tyrosine  since the compete during  absorption and  during metabolism.
  • Imbalance of vitamins and minerals
  • Trauma
  • Genetic factors
  • Developmental age
  • Lactation
  • Excessive excretion
If your diet is not properly balanced  or  if it does not provide an adequate amount of the essential  amino acids, sooner or later, it will appear as a form of physical and-or mental disorder

Inadequacy or imbalance of amino acids

All proteins in living organisms are built by chaining 20 different amino acids.
If your diet is not properly balanced or if it does not provide an adequate amount of the essential amino acids, sooner or later, it will appear as a form of physical and-or mental disorder .
